Meet The Inspector

Hello! My name is Larry Barker, owner of Diamond L Home Inspections. I am a licensed professional inspector governed by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). After working for an inspection company for over 6 years, I decided to open my own business to continue to provide the highest quality customer service available to North Central Texas.

Prior to becoming a home inspector, I was an Electrical Engineer for over 30 years – having a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration. Additionally, I have worked in construction from new commercial builds to remodels in houses.

My family consists of my lovely wife, Marie, and my two pain in the butt kids, Brandon and Breanna. With every house I enter, I inspect it as if one of my kids was the one purchasing it. I want you to be just as confident in your purchase as they would be when I am done inspecting.
